The exhibit features 10 male and 11 female architects of African descent, who through their perseverance and creative talent, have gained recognition in this elite profession. Their unique perspective has enabled them to have a voice and an impact on the way public spaces are presented and used.

Land Planning

Location: Mang’ula, Tanzania
A Land Planning guide for a typical rural village in the central region of Tanzania was presented to the residents of Kisawasawa. The mission of the design guide was to foster economic growth by bringing revenue inside the village, through tourism. The guide proposed both a sustainable home and a prototype host home.
