Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience
Design Degree
BARCH or MARCH
B.F.A. or M.F.A. in Interior Design
Sustainability experience/certifications
Strong Software Capabilities
BIM: Revit, Rhino (is a plus)
Coordination: Bluebeam
Graphic: Adobe Creative Suite and Miro
Commercial Interiors project experience (workplace is a plus)

Production skills in programming, design development, construction documents (including detailing, and specifications), and construction administration
Under the design direction of Studio 397 leadership, the intermediate designer shall work on the production of concept design, schematic design, and design development deliverables. The intermediate designer shall prepare conceptual drawings and renderings, technical drawings & FF&E specifications, consult manufacturers, evaluate finish materials and furniture, and inspect architectural elements in the field.
Candidate shall perform routine architectural assignments under direction but not immediate supervision. Works independently to evaluate, select, compile data, and apply standard design techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and possible solutions from the lead designer. For professional developmental purposes, assignments may include work typical of a higher level. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for the application of sound professional judgment.
Leads project delivery efforts to establish efficient and innovative approaches to communicate design intent and scope throughout all project phases to meet project requirements.
